This was a personal development undertaking to familiarise myself with the Redshift 3rd party render engine for Cinema 4d.

I modeled the wheels in cinema and then used a combination of texture maps, gradient, and noise effects to create the desired material for each wheel, then going further and providing them in a variety of combinations that are also available in the real world.

As a bonus at the bottom of the page I've included some work I did rendering some Reds Bearings my preferred bearing to skate on.

As a keen rollerskater, this project was quite special to me and allowed me to pay homage to some of my favourite wheels as well as some that are prevalent in the skate community.
